Rehabilitation center for women from Distressed Backgrounds
Focus Area
Our organization has been running two rehabilitation centers since 2004 wherein women from distressed background like victims of rape, domestic violence, divorce, etc. are catered to. The motive is to empower oppressed women by providing them with basic amenities and enhancing their skills through various vocational training.
Target Group
Women/ girls from vulnerable backgrounds such as victims of domestic violence, sexual crimes, widows, survivors of natural calamities, women who are deserted by family, widows, divorced, mentally challenged women (except for the psychotic categories who require care in a specialized environment in mental hospitals), etc.
These women are between the age group of 18-45 years of age.
